Born in New York, my heart will always have a special place for the east coast. Except, perhaps, in autumn, when nor'easters, blizzards and general freezingness blanket the eastern states while California is still basking in the glorious sunshine. At 75 degrees, no less.
Yes, this time of year my heart may belong to the west.
It's finally started feeling as fall-ish as California gets -- we've dropped to at least 65 degrees (giggle) -- which means it's finally the perfect time to break out the boots and scarfs.
